Conventional RC sampling and sample handling is one of the most difficult and dangerous jobs for people in the drilling industry. In certain ground conditions, sample quality also suffers significantly. Tribe Tech’s autonomous sampling system addresses both issues. It is currently being developed and commercialised at our Australian operations in Perth, WA. It is a modular system with novel, patent applied for, purging, cyclone, sample splitting and sample handling technologies. The system was initially designed for integration with the TTDS 700 drill rig but can be adapted to be used with other drill rigs. Customers can choose individual modules, module combinations or the entire system.
